NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

 

A public hearing will be held on the following regulations:

  • 401 KAR 6:001 Definitions for 401 KAR Chapter 6
  • 401 KAR 6:310 Water supply well construction practices and standards
  • 401 KAR 6:320 Certification of water well drillers
  • 401 KAR 6:350 Monitoring well construction practices and standards

 

The public hearing will be held on June 25, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Department for Environmental Protection conference room 1B and 1C, 300 Fair Oaks Lane in Frankfort. 

 

Individuals interested in being heard at this hearing should notify the Division of Water in writing by June 18, 2008, of their intent to attend. If no notification of intent to attend the hearing is received by that date, the hearing may be cancelled. Any person who wishes to be heard will be given an opportunity to comment on the proposed administrative regulation. If you do not wish to be heard at the public hearing, you may submit written comments on the proposed administrative regulation. Written comments will be accepted until June 30, 2008.
