Government Contacts

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is charged with administering the Clean Water Act.  Its overall mission is to protect human health and to safeguard the natural environment — air, water and land — upon which life depends.

The mission of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers administers Section 404 of the Clean Water Act.  Kentucky is covered by the following four districts:
