To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Clean Water Act and to demonstrate the widespread involvement of volunteers who care about their streams and rivers, the American Clean Water Foundation and other organizations sponsored a unified water quality monitoring day.  See the National Water Monitoring Day information for ways people could get involved.
