State National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) staff have compiled several documents in order to aid local administrators in implementing floodplain management.  Those documents are found below.

Kentucky Model Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance - minimum requirements - This version of the state model floodplain management ordinance meets all the state and federal minimum requirements for floodplain management.

Kentucky Model Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance - higher regulatory standards - This version of the state model floodplain management ordinance includes additional standards that a community may adopt for floodplain management and Community Rating System (CRS) purposes.
