DFIRM Study Status

Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) Study Status

The current status of statewide DFIRMs is summarized below:

Effective DFIRMs:  Bell, Boone, Boyd, Bracken, Bullitt, Campbell, Carroll, Clay, Franklin, Greenup, Hardin, Harlan, Jefferson, Knott, Knox, Laurel, Leslie, Lewis, Magoffin, Mason, Oldham, Pendleton, Perry, Warren and Whitley counties.

Preliminary DFIRMs:  Breathitt, Breckinridge, Christian, Daviess, Fayette, Gallatin, Hancock, Hopkins, Kenton, Lee, Letcher, Mercer, Morgan, Owsley, Pike, Trimble and Wolfe counties.

DFIRMs under development:  Anderson, Boyle, Casey, Crittenden, Floyd, Henderson, Jackson, LaRue, Lincoln, Martin, McCreary, Meade, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Shelby, Spencer, Union and Wayne counties.

Future DFIRMs:  Adair, Allen, Ballard, Barren, Bath, Bourbon, Butler, Caldwell, Calloway, Carlisle, Carter, Clark, Clinton, Cumberland, Edmonson, Elliott, Estill, Fleming, Fulton, Garrard, Grant, Graves, Grayson, Green, Harrison, Hart, Henry, Hickman, Jessamine, Livingston, Logan, Lyon, Madison, Marion, Marshall, McCracken, McLean, Menifee, Metcalfe, Monroe, Montgomery, Muhlenberg, Nelson, Nicholas, Ohio, Owen, Powell, Robertson, Rowan, Russell, Scott, Simpson, Taylor, Todd, Trigg, Washington, Webster and Woodford counties.
